NSN Changes in Service Pack 1
The following changes have been made to NSN (National Student Number) and NSI (National Student Index) following feedback from the Ministry of Education.
Residential status verification
The Ministry of Education has changed the rules regarding verification of the following fields:

Residential Verification
Residential Status and Residential verification values must both be set to a known value, left blank, or unknown/unverified to successfully send data to NSI. For example, you cannot set Residential Status to Overseas and leave Residential Verification blank.
NSI account password limit
The NSI Account Password limit has been increased to 64 characters to comply with requirements from the Ministry of Education.
As part of this change the NSN account settings have also been moved from Options > NSN to the Institution Settings module as follows:

NSI Account Username and NSI Account Password have been added to National Student Number (NSN).

NSI Organisation Reference, also known as Provider Code, is shown on General (Cross-System).
